4.19.16  (POSITION FILLED) Do you prefer to keep moving? Do you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy organizing things? The La Crosse Public Library's Circulation Department is currently seeking two qualified, service-oriented candidates for the position of circulation clerk. The position involves check-in, sorting, verifying, and shelving library materials. Circulation clerk duties also include shelf reading, and cleaning and dusting of materials and shelves.

Because South Community Library is being used as a polling place for multiple precincts, it will be closed to the public on Tuesday, April 5, for the presidential primary election. Main and North Community Library will both be open regular hours.

3.8.16  (5.15.16 Reviewing applications) The La Crosse Public Library is accepting applications for the newly-created position of Communications and Public Relations Coordinator. This full-time position, with benefits, will assist in creating and executing strategic media relations activities that will highlight the Library as a vital, transformative, and responsive organization within the community.
