LIBRARY AIDE POSITION OPEN:
Circulation Aide  - 10 hours per week

The starting wage for a circulation aide position is $6.65 per hour.  Library aides in other departments are eligible for lateral transfer at his/her present wage.

The positions involve sorting, verifying, and shelving library materials.  Also involves shelf reading, cleaning and dusting of materials and shelves.  See attached job description for more details.

Primary placement is in the Circulation Area at the Main Library with assignment to North and South Community libraries or Youth Services as needed to meet departmental demands.  Work schedules for library staff are generally determined by departmental needs.  However, overall library workflow usually requires staff to rotate work schedules to include evenings and weekends.

This Position Level A job pays $6.65 per hour training wage.  Other library aides are eligible for lateral transfer at his/her present wage.

The position involves primarily shelving library materials but may involve some other basic library duties.  See attached job description.

Primary placement is in at the North Community Library with assignment to South Community Library and in the Circulation area or the Children's Room at the Main Library as needed to meet departmental demands.  Work schedules for library staff are generally determined by departmental needs.  Overall library work flow requires staff to work evenings and weekends.
