Reference Services: (Where people get answers to their questions)

Ask questions about things like:

Call the Reference desk at 789-7122 or just stop at the library. You may also ask a question on our web site at "Ask a Librarian"

Youth Services:

Young Adult: (For middle and high school students)

Call the Main Library at 789-7128 for more information.

Circulation Services: (Get a library card and check out materials)

Books in large print - both fiction and nonfiction.
Audio books-books on cassettes and CDs
Adult Easy Reading collection with high interest/low vocabulary fiction and nonfiction books
CDs
Videos
DVDs

To help you find or use books, magazines, videos, CDs, and cassettes:

Arkenstone Open Book reading system (uses a computer that will scan a book and read it to you!)

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Magni-cam, and magnifiers to make the print bigger

VCR and TV, CD player, and tape player for in-house use.

Ask staff to show you how to use any of these!

Youth Services is on the first floor in the Children’s Area (look for the bridge)
At the North and South Community libraries:
There is just one desk for everything
