This service is best used for short-answer questions that library staff can quickly answer without a considerable amount of research.  We can provide answers to many questions or suggest sources or locations which might help you find the information you need.

Please limit your questions to genealogy and/or La Crosse area local history. Time does not allow us to answer requests like "Please send me everything on the ANDERSON family who lived in La Crosse in the 1800s."

Helpful information to include: full name(s) with variant spellings, dates or time periods, and residence of the ancestor(s) you're seeking.
