Electronic Resources: Foundation Center

If you're working with a nonprofit looking for grants or if you're an individual looking for scholarships to go back to school, the Foundation Center resources can help.

Foundation Grants to Individuals uses a simple keyword search to identify scholarships, grants, and internships. The Foundation Directory Online uses a sophisticated search interface to help nonprofit organizations find funding opportunities.

These databases are available only in the Main Street library.

Electronic Resources Round-up: Ancestry

Looking for your dad’s Army enlistment papers? A marriage record for your grandparents? Maybe the census list for your family in the 1930 census? Ancestry can help with those and much more. It’s a genealogy resource full of public records and indexes that can help you trace your family’s history. The public version of Ancestry is a subscription database, but you can use it in the library at no cost.

Access it from our website (inside the library only), by clicking on the Research tab above and looking for it under “A”, or from the Archives page by clicking on the Genealogy tab.
