Book lovers and collectors rejoice! The Friends of the La Crosse Public Library are holding their Winter Book Sale on Saturday, February 11 from 9 AM-2 PM, 800 Main Street.
Now through Tax Day, volunteers from the AARP will be at the La Crosse Public Library to help prepare federal and state returns for middle and low-income taxpayers, with special attention given to people ages 60 and over. This free community service is provided by appointment only.

We're happy to announce a new season of Monday Mornings at Main, February 6-May 1 from 9:30-11:00 AM.
Refreshments will be served at each program.

The La Crosse Public Library is helping to co-sponsor the 2017 Washburn Neighborhood Rain Barrel Painting Contest. The theme of this year's contest is, "The Changing Faces of Nature." All entries must function as a rain barrel and should be painted to celebrate the theme. The contest deadline is Febrary 28, 2017.
