5.15.15 One of the outcomes from last year's Branch Library Task Force was the recommendation for an efficiency study, to see where the library might adjust staffing and processes and save money. A Process Management Study was conducted by Bruce Smith at WILS, a non-profit membership organization that facilitates collaborative projects and services to save members time and money and to advance library service in Wisconsin. This report was was delivered to the La Crosse Public Library Board of Directors on Thursday, May 14, 2015. The Board and library administration and management will be discussing its results at future meetings.

So much booky goodness for you to take home! Sale door opens at 6 pm on Friday, April 24 for Friends of the Library members, with memberships available at the door starting at 5:30. The sale continues on Saturday, April 25, 9-2 with all books $1 or less. All proceeds are used for programs and materials not included in the library's budget.
