10.6.14 Our new-and-improved Play and Learn area, made possible through a generous grant from Fowler and Hammer, is officially open! Come celebrate with us Friday October 10 at 10:00am at Main Library- right after our preschool Footloose Friday dance party! It will give everyone a chance to thank our donors for their generous gift! And what can you do after the grand opening? Why, dress up and write letters to your favorite book characters...who just might write back! Parents can learn new games to play at home that build strong hand muscles for writing. Join us for this fun and brain-boosting morning!
9. 18.14 Have you visited our newly renovated Play & Learn area? We received a generous community foundation grant from Fowler & Hammer and were able to purchase some amazing things. We now have all new furniture and activities for you and your little one to explore!
In the Play & Learn area this month you’ll find a mailbox and dress-up stand. You can become a firefighter, deliver mail to your favorite book characters, or even write your own letters. Best of all, your favorite characters will write a letter back to you! Just ask at the Children’s desk for writing supplies.
We’ll see you soon in the Children’s Room!
