Bus Trip- Christmas Carol at the Guthrie Theatre

Join us to share in this popular holiday tradition, now it its 43rd year. This perennial favorite has become one of the most cherished productions at the beautiful Guthrie Theatre, located in downtown Minneapolis. This current production of the classic Christmas tale by Charles Dickens was given a new adaptation by playwright Crispin Whittell in 2010 and features brand-new staging from director Lauren Keating. Whether you've never experienced A Christmas Carol at the Guthrie or you've made it an annual part of your holiday season, this bus trip organized by the La Crosse Public Library is the perfect opportunity to join friends and family for a day of holiday cheer.  Tickets are limited. When: Saturday, December 2, 2017

Where: Guthrie Theatre, Minneapolis

Departure: The motor coach will leave from the former K-Mart parking lot (2415 State Road) at approximately 7:30 AM and will return at approximately 7:00 PM. Exact times will be given closer to the tour date.

Cost per person: $115 for members of the Friends of the Library, $130 for general public. Join the Friends of the Library for $10 and save $5 on the price of the bus trip.

The bus trip includes a ticket to the show, lunch at the Guthrie, transportation, and onboard refreshments.

This production is recommended for ages 8+. Due to Guthrie policy, children under 5 will not be admitted.
