Reading is Key for Tots
2012-04-03 10:49:14 Posted By: Dave
" Little Key-Key", our new mascot, invites families with children birth up to 35 months old to join a brand new fun effort that spotlights the fun of books and the library for the very youngest. This easy DIY program holds the “key” to supporting a child's early literacy needs.
Beginning in April and running through May, families can pick up a new card weekly. Each card focuses on a different part of the library collection and suggests fun ways to encourage your child through reading, singing, talking, rhyming and more. Little Key-Key encourages the kids along the way.
Families that complete four cards by the end of May, will receive a special gift for their child that can be picked up between June 4-15 (coinciding with summer storytime registration). Stop by and join today!
