Guide to Poisonous Plants

The Guide to Poisonous Plants lets you look for plants that are poisonous either by botanical name or common name.  The results provide a picture, a description of the plant, habitat, animals affected, toxic principle and treatment.

The Wisconsin Vascular Plants site is the best place on the web for identifying plants and leaves.  The site can be searched by a plants' scientific name, by its common name, or by browsing the collection.  The site contains photos of various species and maps to locate the different species throughout Wisconsin.
