VIBES-Virtual International Business and Economic Sources

Dataweb offers “pre-defined” reports on specific countries, geographic regions, or special tariff program.  It includes trade statistics and tariff information that are important in analyzing international trade.

OFFStats:   Official Statistics on the Web

OFFStats is complied by the University of Auckland Library in New Zealand.  "OFFStats lists web sites offering free and easily accessible social, economic, and general data from official or similar 'quotable' sources."

World Bank Group

The World Bank Group has complied a section for data and maps.  It offers country data (national statistics for countries and regions including data profiles and country-at-a-glance tables), data by topic, or data query (including 54 time series indicators for 206 countries and 17 groups, spanning 5 years.) Another section to explore is the "countries and regions" .  It offers a country overview and profile of the countries that World Bank works with.
