"Internet Mental Health is a free encyclopedia of mental health information."  It is designed to help with diagnosis and to improve the understanding and treatment of mental illness. 

Mental Help Net

Mental Help Net's goal is to provide an easy-to-use, friendly way of finding and learning about mental health topics on the Internet.  It contains information on disorders and treatments, and has other professional resources available.  There is also a "reading room" with access to mental health articles and news and a community message board.

National Institute of Mental Health (NIHM)

NIHM offers information about the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of mental illness.  It includes brochures, information sheets, reports, press releases, fact sheets, and other educational materials.

Psych Central

It is an annotated directory of mental health resources for professionals and consumers that covers abuse, alcohol and substance abuse, anxiety and panic disorders, attention deficit disorder, and  more. Dr. John Grohol, Psy D., a Boston author, online expert, and researcher reviews all sites.
