FastAid.com

The site claims to be the largest private sector database in the world. The registration process is long and can be cumbersome. The site is up-front about not selling any personal data to third parties.

Fastweb

Fastweb contains information over 400,000 scholarships.   Registration is required.

Hispanic Fund

This site provides the application for the Hispanic College Fund. It also includes a listing of other scholarship sources available on the Internet.

International Education Financial Aid

IEFA is the "premier" Internet resource for financial aid information for students wishing to study in a foreign country. This site is nicely arranged and easy to use. The only way to search is by field of study. Another great starting place for scholarship research.

Scholarships, Fellowships & Postdoctoral Awards for College, Graduate School & Postdoctoral Study

This web site is very easy to use. The actual scholarship information is not on this site. Instead, it links you directly to the scholarship information and to the organization offering the scholarship, grant, or fellowship. This site can be searched in a number of ways, including the name of the scholarship and types of scholarships.

SRN Express

Scholarship Resource Network claims to be "a search engine and database of private scholarships designed to assist students in identifying sources for undergraduate through postgraduate study. SRN contains more than 8,000 programs with a distribution level of over 150,000 awards worth a total of more than $35 million." The site is easy to use and is listed high on my list of places to search for scholarship information.

UNESCO-Studying Abroad

This handbook is a guide to higher education study opportunities and scholarships offered by higher education institutions and international organizations in 129 countries.

U.S. Department of Education's Student Aid

A "one-stop shop" for up-to-date and accurate information on federal aid available to help pay for college. This site also includes links to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

U.S. News and World Report: Financial Aid

U.S. News and World Report provides an easy, clear concise way to search for scholarship information. Users can search three ways: by the scholarship name, by categories (ethnic, athletic, art, corporate organizations, and military scholarships) or by personalizing the search. A great starting place!

Wisconsin Mentor

The Wisconsin Mentor system is an online resource to help students and their families select a college, apply for admission, and plan to finance higher education.
