St.
Cloud and George Streets looking west, 2003
The St. Cloud Street and George Street intersection received a
major facelift in 1999. The west side of George Street has been
closed off creating a three- way or T intersection. The intersection
now has traffic lights in three directions with left-turn signals
when turning south onto George Street and east onto St. Cloud Street.
George Street is now a four lane street with a median for lane
changes south of the intersection and has a concrete dividing
median north of the intersection. St. Cloud Street also has a dividing
median between the left (south) turn lane and right (north) turn
lane.
