Teen’s Top Ten is a national campaign to encourage teens to read over the summer from a list of nominees and then vote for their favorite books. Teens can vote online for their favorites and the winners are announced during Teen Read Week in October. Last year, more than 10,000 teens voted for their favorite books—will you be one of them this year? It’s simple: read any or all of the 25 books nominated and then vote for your favorites at www.ala.org/teenstopten. You can stop in at any of our three library locations and pick up a handy-dandy bookmark which has the complete list of this year’s nominees—there are some fantastic titles on this year’s list! This is your chance to choose the best books for teens--absolutely no adult participation is allowed--so exercise your right to read and VOTE!
