Tech classes at the La Crosse Public Library will resume in September, but there are other options for lifelong learning through the library:

Gale Courses

Brush up on Microsoft Word, Excel or WordPress, study the basics of investing in stocks or writing grant proposals, and learn a new language.  Gale Courses has classes for both professional and personal development.  Available to anyone with a valid Winding Rivers Library System card. Classes are accessible online 24/7/365. Courses are 6 weeks long with new sessions starting every month. Gale Courses are taught by college instructors and experts in their field. Free with your library card!

The Great Courses

The Great Courses available on Kanopy include informative series on robotics, history, astronomy, mythology, writing and publishing, music, art and many more subjects.  Kanopy is available to all residents of the city of La Crosse with a valid library card.  Create an account and stream up to 6 titles a month.  Stream on your computer or newer TVs, or download the app to stream from your phone, tablet or Roku.
