The La Crosse Public Library and our community partners are starting the planning process to create a new mixed-use community facility on the current location of the South Community Library. Our goal is to arrive at a design that co-locates a branch library, a senior center, and other related community partner services within a neighborhood setting. The architectural team hired to develop plans for this project, MSR Design out of Minneapolis, along with Lifespan Design Studio of Loveland, OH will be on site for a series of meetings to gather public input as we work together to create this new community space.

We'll be holding public meetings with these design firms at the South Community Library on Tuesday, March 19 from 7-9 PM and on Wednesday, March 20 from 10-11:30 AM.

We value your input on how this facility can best serve the needs of the La Crosse community.  Come ready to participate in an active discussion and brainstorming session.
