How to Request an e-Card
If you don’t have a library card, but would like to access our digital services, you can request an e-card today!
Card requests can be submitted to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Phone requests can be made during library business hours by calling 608.789.7167.
In order to apply for a library card, you will need to provide the following information:
- FULL NAME
- COMPLETE ADDRESS
- PHONE NUMBER AND/OR EMAIL
- PIN NUMBER (This needs to be a four-digit number, and is required to access online databases)
Once this information is provided, we will generate a card for you and provide you with the details needed to access online materials.
Note: Your card will expire on May 16, 2021. In order to continue your library service beyond this date, you will need to stop into the La Crosse Public Library (800 Main Street location) and provide us with a photo ID and sign your application. If you don’t come in by that time, the account will be deleted.
As a new card holder, you may wish to subscribe to the LPL monthly newsletter to stay connected and receive information on the latest LPL news, services, and upcoming programming information: https://www.lacrosselibrary.org/about/newsletter
*Please be aware due to limit resources at this time all submission requests from residences outside of the county of La Crosse will be forwarded to the Winding Rivers Library System office for consideration.
