Why should children have all the fun? Join the La Crosse Public Library at the Turtle Stack Brewery on the second Tuesday of every month for 'Storytime for Adults.' Listen to your favorite local librarians and performers read adult-oriented stories and essays. In October, our monthly theme will be "Safety Not Guaranteed."
Doors open at 5 PM so you can get a seat and a bite to eat. Stories start right at 6:30 PM. Beer and craft sodas are available for purchase. Librarians will be on hand from 5-8 PM to answer your questions and give you personalized book recommendations. The Taco Town food cart will join us to sell dinner and snacks during the event. The Turtle Stack Brewery invites you to carry in food to their establishment.
For ages 21+ only.
*** Beginning Thursday, June 25***

What's your library story? The La Crosse Public Library is collecting impact statements that may be useful in demonstrating the collective value of our public library to community members and other stakeholders. Please submit your impact story using this brief form by July 31. If you would prefer to write your response, printed copies will be available at the Main Library. A link to a printable form can also be found here.
