You are here

We dare you to make this the best summer yet! Sign up for The Summer Dare, our youth summer library program, at any of our three city library locations now through August 3, 2019.

Pick up and complete dare sheets throughout the summer and help us reach our city-wide goal of reading ONE MILLION MINUTES!

Show your library love! Get your very own "Super Reader" yard sign when you sign up (while supplies last).

Be sure to join us at the library all summer long for almost daily youth activities, including free performances, storytimes, games, nature hikes, crafts, costume parties, and a whole lot more!

The Summer Dare is recommended for youth ages 0-11.

We also have a Teen Summer Library Program exclusively for middle and high school students. Students entering grades 6-12 can pick up teen challenge bookmarks at the library. Complete five challenges by reading, attending teen library events, and/or volunteering with local nonprofit organizations, then turn in your completed bookmark and earn a free book. You'll also be entered into our $100 gift card raffle. Complete more challenges for additional chances to win gift cards from Barnes & Noble, Marcus Theatres, and Target. Teens are also invited to join us every Thursday afternoon at 1:30 PM for Pizza Thursdays, featuring free pizza and a different enteretaining event each week.
