Banned Book Fair

In partnership with Pearl Street Books,  The Root Note, and the 7 Rivers LGBTQ Connection: The Center,we’re excited to host a Banned Book Fair during Banned Books Week!

Join us on October 9th from 7-9pm for an evening dedicated to the stories that challenge, inspire, and refuse to be silenced. Browse a curated selection of banned and challenged books, connect with community members, and pick up a copy of "My Child is Trans, Now What?" from guest author Ben Greene, who will be on-site handing out books.

The Library will have staff on hand collecting sign ups for library cards, The Root Note will have yummy drinks available for sale, as always, and The Center will have staff onsite, too!

Come celebrate the freedom to read with us — and the books worth standing up for.
