The La Crosse Public Library will be hosting a series of meetings from March 18-20 to gather input as we begin planning for the future of public spaces at the South Community Library and the Main Street Library. Please visit lacrosselibrary.org/future for more information on how to get involved and to see the full schedule of public meetings. A community survey will be available online and at the front desk of each of all three La Crosse Public Library locations starting on Wednesday afternoon.
You are here
You have many options for supporting the library. If you like and value what we do, consider a contribution of time or money.
Donate to the La Crosse Public Library online using your library card and a credit or debit card.
The citizens of La Crosse are very generous in their support of their library system. We welcome your monetary donation of any amount. Checks may be sent to 800 Main Street, La Crosse, WI 54601, attention, Loretta Kilmer, Business Manager.
By remembering the library through a bequest, you will help to insure that the La Crosse Public Library will continue to serve future generations. Contact Director Kelly Krieg-Sigman about opportunities for giving, or to be added to our fundraising list.
The library welcomes the gift of time from qualified volunteers. If you are interested in being a general volunteer at any of our locations, email our Volunteer Manager, Heather Miller, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 608-789-7125.
Give-a-Gift has been our signature fundraising event since 2003. The premise is simple: We dress up the Main library and display pre-selected new books on a variety of subjects, for all ages. You select and purchase titles, and donate them to the library in honor of someone special (or anonymously). Since 2003, this event has put over $100,000 worth of new materials on library shelves. If you would like an invitation, please email Elaine Phillips, administrative assistant, at email@example.com or call her at 608-789-7143.
The library welcomes donations of gently used books and other select materials to be sold at our Friends of the Library Book sales. Please review our donation form for donating used items before bringing materials in. We cannot accept materials that are moldy, damaged, dirty, or in a condition that would present a health risk to staff and volunteers. Such materials should be disposed of. There are no local options for recycling such materials.
If you are a local author/creator who would like to donate a copy of your work to our Creators Corner collection, please review our guidelines for contributing your work.
