Attention App Users:

As of July 15, the library's current app is being retired and will no longer work.  However, a NEW and improved app is coming on September 18! 
 

To ensure the best continuity of service during this time in between apps: 

  • Bring your physical library card to check out.  You can help your library staff immensely by having your library card (or a picture of your card’s barcode) at checkout.  Additional verification may be required.  Library staff will be happy to issue you a new card if you need one.

  • Make sure your library account is in good standing before September 3rd.
     
  • Access your account, reserve meeting spaces, and use digital resources through our website.
     
  • Keep an eye out for updates and information about the forthcoming upgrade to our library catalog.

Encore Mobile Update

Additionally, the Winding Rivers Library System has noted that the mobile version of our current Encore catalog may not be displaying correctly on all devices.

While we are in the process of introducing a new catalog and app, a temporary solution is to change a device's display to "Desktop," which will enable the catalog to work on mobile devices.

Here are the instructions for switching to Desktop view on a phone:

Android

1. Open Chrome on your device

2. Tap More or the three vertical dots, then Settings

3. Under Advanced, selected Site settings, then Desktop site

4. Turn on Desktop site

Apple/Safari

1.  Open Safari on your device

2.  Navigate to the library catalog website you normally use, or www.wrlsweb.org

3. Tap the ‘aA’ icon in the left part of the address bar

4. Tap Request Desktop Website
