Event Details

Join Owen Zecca & Lauren Ré of the UWL Mycology Club for a crash course on mushroom cultivation! We’ll start with a brief 101 presentation on mushroom basics and then delve into various methods used for cultivating fungi for food, biofabrication, and more. Afterwards, there will be a hands-on component where we will walk through the process of creating spawn bags for simple, at-home culinary mushroom cultivation. Spawn bag supplies are limited and will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
