You’re Invited: Film Screening + Discussion, Deconstructing Karen: An Honest Conversation About Race, Power, and Responsibility

This provocative film takes viewers inside an unfiltered conversation on race, gender, privilege, and power — challenging participants to reflect on how good intentions are not enough when dismantling racism. The discussion afterward will invite us to connect what we’ve seen in the film to our own lives, communities, and organizations — exploring how we can move beyond “niceness” and into deeper accountability and action.

There is a place for everyone in this conversation, but please note: the film and discussion directly address how dominant groups — particularly white-identifying people — may unknowingly perpetuate systemic racism, even with the best of intentions. Bring your courage, humility, and openness!
