Designed for all ages, this 30-minute storytime features stories, rhymes, singing, games, and dancing. A great opportunity to encourage an interest in books and help young children develop important socialization skills. 

Meet us at the marsh trail at Myrick Park to hear a classic fairy tale as we enjoy the hike around the beautiful marsh. Choose to join us at 9:00 AM or for a repeated session at 10:00 AM.  For all ages.

Play Shoppe is a shared time for parents and their children! Join the Parenting Place and enjoy open-ended playtime, a simple art activity, circle and storytime, and a snack. Come and share the power of playing with your child!

Designed for ages birth-9 months, this 20 minute storytime features simple stories, songs, rhymes, and a lot of interactive fun! A great opportunity to meet other caregivers in the area with playtime happening after storytime.

Free to play and be me! An inclusive playgroup for LGBTQ+ families and allies. In a collaboration with 7 Rivers LGBTQ Connection, Fun stories and activities to be provided by the La Crosse Public Library and the Parenting Place. 

Unleash your creativity with eco-friendly crafts at the North Library.  We'll breathe new life into leftover materials to create fantastic, upcycled art! For all ages.

An opportunity for neurodivergent teens and young adults (aged 16 through early 30s) to gather for creative arts-based activities and guided discussions.
