Everyone is welcome at the public library! Join us to celebrate the role of public libraries in promoting inclusion and forming connections throughout our wonderfully diverse community.

Main Street Library, 800 Main Street, Main Lobby and Front Plaza

You’re invited to the grand unveiling of our new “Libraries are for Everyone” front entrance banner display. A reception featuring refreshments and live music from the Greg Belfany Quartet will be held in our main atrium starting at 11 AM. Join us out front of the Main Street Library at 11:30 AM for a special unveiling ceremony featuring the Ho-Chunk Drum Circle. We will also be announcing the start of a new annual art contest, which will invite local artists to design new library banners to join the front entrance display. This new banner display and art contest is made possible thanks to generous donations from community members and groups.

This program is part of the National Library Week celebration happening at the La Crosse Public Library from April 8-14, 2018. For more information and a full schedule of local National Library Week events and giveaways, please visit: lacrosselibrary.org/national-library-week-2018
